after almost 14 years, we are modernising our entrance system to meet the current and future needs of our customers. We have decided to join forces with the AVS and adopt their entrance system, which is already in use in many AVS rock gyms in South Tyrol. This innovative system, with the name “CLIMBOFFICE” combines age verification, a signed waiver, personalised tickets and membership of an alpine club. From now on, all tickets will be generated in the form of a QR code and can be viewed on any media, mobile phone, tablet, etc.

 

What does this mean for you and your current multi-entry tickets?

Of course, your current multi-entry ticket will be transferred and remain valid.

All registered Salewa Cube customers will receive an email with instructions to activate their personal Climb Office account. For your future entries, you can simply use the QR code sent to you. The next time you visit the Cube, all you have to do is scan your personal QR code, purchase a ticket or transfer already existing multi-entry ticket to your new account. Your personal data and the signed Salewa Cube admission form have already been transferred there.

In your account, you will find an overview of your active tickets, you can plan your ticket purchases better and have a history of the tickets that have already been used. You can also download your digital climbing qym card with QR code to your smartphone, which you will need for future check-ins.

How will admission work in the future?

Admission takes place in three stages:

1. one-time registration

If you have not filled in the Salewa Cube waiver in the past, please register at: LINK 

On your first visit to the Salewa Cube, sign the digital waiver at the reception.

2. purchase a ticket at the reception

3. validate your ticket at the turnstile by scanning your personal QR code (downloadable from your account).

 

Where can I purchase tickets?

You can still buy tickets at the Salewa Cube reception desk or in the online shop.

What does the new ticket look like?

The new ticket is a QR code. You can print it out or show it digitally to the QR code reader at the turnstile using your mobile phone. Day visitors who have not created a visitor account will find the QR code on their ticket receipt. AVS members already have the QR code printed on their AVS card and can use it.

 

Do I have to fill out the waiver again?

No, the waiver you have already filled out is already stored in your account. If you also visit AVS climbing gyms, which use the new entry system, you will also find these waivers in your account.

 

Why does the Salewa Cube have a different waiver from the AVS climbing gyms?

Because the Salewa Cube is not run by an association, but by a private company, a more detailed waiver is required.

 

Can I enter the gym without a user account?

Yes, in principle you can visit the Cube even without an account. This entry falls into the category of day visitors. This means that you must register as a day visitor and complete the waiver each time before checking in. If you intend to enter the Salewa Cube more than once, we strongly recommend that you activate your account.

 

What does the Salewa Cube do with my user account data?

The account is only used to check whether the waiver has been signed and to generate tickets. You can download the ticket at any time to present it. You will also find an overview of your tickets in your account. The account is not used for marketing purposes and the data is not passed on to third parties.

 

Minors

As before, the signature of a legal guardian is required for minors. In future, this will be done in the account. We recommend registering in time, so that minors already have their consent in the account when they visit the climbing hall and are not turned away at the checkout.

 

If I already possess a multi-entry ticket, what should I do on my next visit to the Salewa Cube?

On your next visit your multi-entry ticket will be imported into the new system. You only have to go to the ticket office with your new QR code and show your old multi-entry tickets. The current tickets will be transferred to your new account with the corresponding validity period.
